Camping le Val d’Amour, a family campsite for three generations, welcomes you to a warm and friendly atmosphere in the heart of the Jura. Ideally located in the golden triangle between Dole and Arbois, our campsite near Dole andArbois is the perfect starting point for exploring the Loue Valley, vineyards, lakes and Jura mountains.
Location & surroundings
Just 12 km from Arbois (capital of Jura wines), 20 km from Dole (City of Art and History), and 15 km from Salins-les-Bains (spa resort), you will be staying in an ideally located spot. Here, the tranquillity of a green environment blends with the charm of the nearby La Loue river. Perfect for those who want a campsite near Dole to explore the city, as well as those looking for a campsite near Arbois to enjoy the must-see sights of the Jura vineyards: Ounans ticks all the boxes.
The estate: 3.65 hectares of nature
Set in 3.65 hectares of enclosed woodland (various species), the flat, grassy and well-shaded site has 97 pitches, including 32 rental accommodations. Tarmac and lit paths for easy and safe movement.

Plots: comfort & practicality
Our flat, grassy pitches measure approximately 120 m² and are equipped with a 10 A electricity connection (European socket) and a nearby water supply.
The gentle terrain and proximity to the Chaux forest make this an ideal spot for family cycling trips; for the more experienced, the first mountains are only 15 km away. Fancy some white water?
Take a canoe trip along the winding Loue River (information and bookings at reception).
Dedicated motorhome area available.

High season: 9 a.m.–12 p.m. / 2 p.m.–7 p.m., every day
Low season: 10 a.m.–12 p.m. / 3 p.m.–6 p.m. (on-call number outside these hours)
Reception available in French and English; self-service tourist information at reception
Entrance gate: 8:30 a.m.–10:30 p.m. (automatic exit gate open 24 hours a day)
Snack bar (July/August): every evening from 6pm to 9.30pm, eat-in or takeaway
Pizza van: from 6.30 pm every evening
Water park: 10am–8pm (plus evening sessions in high season) from 20 June to 5 September (swim shorts not permitted)

Environment and Ecology
• Within the campsite, we ask that you get around on foot or by bike.
• Maximum speed 10 km/h; no vehicles between 10.30 pm and 8.30 am.
• Open fires are prohibited; charcoal and gas barbecues are permitted.
• Water-saving taps, energy-saving light bulbs.
• Waste sorting.
o Maintenance of green spaces without the use of pesticides; electric vehicles for staff.
o After 10.30 pm, please keep noise levels down so as not to disturb your neighbours.
o It is prohibited to charge electric cars anywhere on the campsite.
