Fancy a lively campsite with a swimming pool in the Jura?
At Le Val d'Amour campsite, alternate between swimming and relaxing: bask in the sun, take a nap in the shade, then head to the snack bar terrace for a refreshing break between dips in the pool.
The atmosphere is friendly and welcoming, perfect for a successful holiday with the whole family.
Supervised aquatic area: pools, slides & relaxation
Our aquatic area includes two pools for all ages:
A large 25 × 10 m pool, 1.00 to 2.50 m deep, with a diving board.
A small pool measuring 6 × 10 m, shallow (40 to 70 cm) with a central fountain, ideal for younger children.
Two slides totalling 70 m of sliding fun, a "cool" blue slide and a faster "kamikaze" yellow slide, add to the fun.
Deckchairs are arranged all around for sunbathing, reading or enjoying a peaceful nap in a setting conducive to relaxation.
Comfort & safety
Lifeguard supervision: from 2pm to 7pm (July/August).
Opening hours: 10 a.m. to 8 p.m., from 20 June to 5 September (non-stop).
Indicative temperature: 23 to 28°C in season, depending on weather conditions.
Rules: swimwear compulsory (shorts not allowed); children under 7 or non-swimmers must be supervised by an adult.
First aid station managed by lifeguards for minor injuries.
Poolside refreshments in the afternoon: cold drinks, ice cream and snacks (consumption outside the beach area, dedicated terrace).
Advice for families and tribes
To enjoy the pool area with peace of mind, remember to bring non-slip sandals, sun cream and spare towels for the children.
Teenagers love to spend their time on the slides and in the night-time swimming pool (depending on the programme), while their parents relax on the sun loungers.
Entertainment: daytime and evening
During the day
Aquagym, aquabike and swimming lessons with our qualified swimming instructors (on request)
Sports tournaments: football, pétanque, table tennis, volleyball (on grass), basketball (concrete court).
In the evening
Night swimming, dance/karaoke evenings, concerts, shows, themed meals on the snack bar terrace.
Children's entertainment
(2–3 mornings per week)
From 10 a.m. to 12 p.m.: ball games, craft workshops, treasure hunts... A weekly schedule is posted on the activities board.
Free access to sports and games facilities
For exercise and fun, children can enjoy a playground with acro games, spring toys and a secure trampoline.
Older children have access to football pitches, grass volleyball courts, pétanque courts and a basketball hoop.
Ping-pong tables complete the facilities. A trampoline for teenagers and adults is also available, with supervised use in accordance with the instructions on site.
The Loue river, 800 metres away: canoeing, swimming, fishing
Canoeing from the campsite
Route: Ounans → Belmont 7 km (≈2 hrs). Departures at 10:00 a.m. & 2:30 p.m. by minibus (return trip included).
Swimming ability required, closed-toe shoes recommended.
Approximate prices: Adults €20, Children (under 14) €15.
Included: 2/3-seater boat, paddles, life jackets, waterproof container, route map.
July/August: every day except Saturday (morning or afternoon). May, June, September: on request.

Swimming & nature activities
Pebble beaches along the Loue River, spots for paddleboarding and aqua-torpedo.
Category 2 fishing (fly fishing, trout), permits available atthe grocery store (≈300 m).
